Elastomer

Polyurethane elastomer has excellent comprehensive properties, and its modulus is between that of general rubber and plastic.

In many cases, compared with metal materials, polyurethane elastomer products have the advantages of light weight, low noise, resistance to loss, low processing costs, and corrosion resistance; compared with plastics, polyurethane elastomers have the advantages of not being brittle and wear-resistant, etc. advantage. Compared with conventional rubber, polyurethane elastomer has the following advantages: wear resistance, cut resistance, tear resistance, high load-bearing capacity, transparent or translucent, ozone resistance, can be potted and poured, and has a wide hardness range.

Polyurethane elastomers are used in polyurethane rubber screen plates, rubber wheels, tires, shoe materials, mold linings, medical elastic products, pipes, film sheets and other fields.

Polyurethane elastomer:

1.Oligomer polyol

(1)Polyester polyol

(2)Polyether polyol:

Polytetrahydrofuran glycol, polyoxypropylene glycol (PPG)

(3) Polyolefin polyol:

With hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB), hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene acrylonitrile (HTBN), hydroxyl-terminated polyisoprene (HTPI)

2. Diisocyanates and polyisocyanates:

Toluene diisocyanate (TDI), diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) and 1,5-naphthalene diisocyanate (NDI), tetramethylphenylene diisocyanate (TMXDI), hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI), p-phenyl diisocyanate (PPDI), dimethylene phenyl diisocyanate (XDI), etc.

3.Chain extenders and cross-linking agents:

(1) Diamine chain extender:

3,3'-Dichloro-4,4'-diphenylmethanediamine (MOCA), dimethylthiotoluenediamine (DMTDA) and diethyltoluenediamine (DETDA)

(2) Alcohol chain extenders and cross-linking agents:

Glycol chain extenders include ethylene glycol, 1,4-butanediol (BDO), hydroquinone dihydroxyethyl ether [bis(β-hydroxyethyl)ether]hydroquinone, abbreviated as HQEE], N,N-bis(2-hydroxypropyl)aniline (BHPA), etc.

4. Other raw materials

(1) Fillers: Common fillers include calcium carbonate, mica powder, etc.

(2) Hydrolysis stabilizer: Carbodiimide compound is an important hydrolysis stabilizer, and glycidyl ether can also be used.

(3) Flame retardants and other additives: dimethyl phosphate (DMMP), antifungal agents (such as 8-hydroxyquinolinone, etc.), antistatic agents (quaternary ammonium salt surfactants), antioxidants (such as antioxidants) 1010, etc.), anti-UV agents, plasticizers, etc., colorants, release agents, etc. Adding plasticizer can reduce the viscosity of the prepolymer and reduce costs.
